Committee on Climate Change - first annual report
The Committee on Climate Change (CCC) recently published its first annual report and accounts for 2008-09. It set out progress made since its creation last November, including advice given on the 2050 emissions target and carbon budgets. The report also summarised the CCC’s business objectives and deliverables for 2009-10. The committee will produce a first progress report to Government on 12 October 2009.
